Park

We found this fun new park by Daybreak Lake. The kids had a blast.Swinging...one of their favorite things to do.

Kali loved playing in the soft sand.

Makena thought she was so tricky to climb up to the top.

Backpacks

I took the kids to the aquarium yesterday and I bought these cute backpacks for them.

Makena has a Sea Turtle and Kali has a Poison Red Dart Frog

Kali loves to put treats in hers

Makena wouldn't take hers off. I'm surprised she didn't want to sleep in it.

HAIR

I like to find new hair dos for Makena's hair. I found this one and decided to try it out today for church. I was actually impressed with how it turned out. Makena did very good at holding still.
She has no shirt on because we are still in the process of getting ready!

Three Months

These are Tyler's 3 month pictures. I love these pictures!

Fun at the Park

With it being so nice outside today, and with Jarel having to work...we decided to go to the park with Grandpa & Grandma Boyack and Molly. We ate lunch and then let the kids -okay, all of us- play on the swings and slides. We had a fun time. Grandpa did a great job chasing Kali around, after we dropped of Grandpa, Grandma and Molly, Kali was asleep before we made it to 12600 south. Wich is only about 2 minutes from their house!Kali was able to climb this all by herself, which didn't surprise me because she climbs everything.

Amy and Kali...these slides are not made for people with big butts.

Easter

Hope everyone had a great Easter. We had a fantastic weekend. Saturday morning, we went to the South Jordan Park for an egg hunt. This was the first year for Kali to do this. I didn't have to explain a thing to her...she knew exactly what to do with the candy. I kept trying to get her to look at me so I could take a picture...but she wouldn't. She just wanted to keep getting all of the candy. It was fun. Then we went to Jarel's parents for an egg hunt, to dye eggs and to eat lunch. The girls had to look for eggs with their initials on it. I am so proud of Makena that she knew if it was an "M" on the egg or not. She is getting really good at her letters. Thanks Neil and Shirley for the fun day! On Sunday, Makena came into my bedroom to get us so that we could go look for our baskets. She was super excited this year to be able to look for the baskets. This year she kept saying, "I think the sneeky bunny is going to hid my basket hard." And that bunny hid her basket in the closet with the vacuum. She thought that was funny. We went to church and then came home and took a nap and then got ready to go to my parent's house. We ate dinner, had an egg hunt, got surprises and then had the anual egg roll. Unfortunately our eggs didn't hold up this year and we got out on the first round. Way to go Katie for winning the whole egg rolling championship!!! She had incredible eggs this year - thanks to Molly's perfect dying techniques. We also celebrated my dad's birthday with ice-cream sundaes. Thanks to my parents for the great time. We had a fantastic weekend. Here are some pictures of the weekend. The girls got chalk from Grandpa and Grandma Hathaway

Fun Night

There are some nights (especially nights that it is snowing) that you just want to stay home, relax and have some fun. We did that Friday night. We all played "Dance, Dance, Revolution." It was a good exercise and a good laugh. We then had the girls make their own pizzas for dinner - thanks Kim for the fun idea. They had a great time. Makena kept saying, "I made my own dinner." After dinner, the kids played and decided to wear their pants on their head and then it was time for ice-cream and a movie. It was a great time by all.

Makena's pizza is the one with 4 olives.

As you can see...Kali LOVES olives!

The girls eating their pizzas. They actually liked them!

I guess pants are to be worn on the head!

So stink'n cute!

Bath Fun

The kids love the bath. I thought I would take a quick video of them in the tub. Hope you enjoy it!
