The Color Run

Today was the color run! My goal was to run the entire thing and I did! Was it fast…NO, but I kept at it and made it the entire way running. We had a blast doing this race!

Glad Makena was able to do the race this year with us! She walked/ran with Grandma and Cindy

Safety Fair

took the kids to the safety fair tonight at the UofU hospital up in Daybreak. There are lots of booths to go to, kids get books, treats and they get to see reptiles, face paintings, eat dinner, make bracelets, and be kids and have fun!

Hailey "School"

Hailey started toddler time for speech today. She goes one day a week for 1 1/2 hours. She was excited to go and to have a backpack. When I picked her up I asked if she had a good time and from what I understood, it seems like she had fun. She had no problems going to "school" and liked getting snacks there. Her speech is improving every day and she is doing so well with using her words when she need something!

I was sad I missed taking him to his first day of preschool, but was glad Jarel was able to take him! After preschool he called me and told me that he had a great time! So glad Tyler can have the opportunity to go to preschool and have a wonderful teacher, Mrs. Jean, and make new friends.

Safety Fair

My mom's ward had a safety fair that we went to. The kids got to participate in a lot of activities. They got to:

Dress up like firemen

Get inside a mini firetruck and pretend to drive it

Makena and Kali rocked climbed. At first they were nervous, but then they felt how fun it was and they climbed the wall 3 times. They both made it up the wall pretty high. They did awesome!!!!

We got to watch the police men put on a dog training exercise

We got to meet "Molly" the police dog

The kids got to ride in this rescue basket that they rescuers use to get someone off of a mountain

They got to do a tug a war

Got up close with a horse :)

And got to run free on the grass!

Overall a very fun night!!
