Zoo in the RAIN

On our way to the zoo, we saw a pelican in the road. I had to stop because it was right in front of me, but then it moved. I felt so bad for this little guy. He was frightened, and couldn't fly because of all the rain. He did eventually make it to the other side of the road. Hope he made it safely back to his home!

The boy lions were out today. Kids thought they were awesome!

Of course we had to go on the merry-go-round

Hailey was wet and "cold" from the rain, so she found a nice way to make her warm and dry herself off!

When it rains we head to the zoo! It wasn't raining too bad and about 1/2 way while we were there, the crowds left and the zoo was empty! Just how we like it!

New Bed

Hailey got a new bed this past weekend! So much bigger and softer than her toddler bed. So far she has slept in it every night, but will get up in the middle of the night and come into our room and sleep in the bed on the floor with Braxton. But she is at least sleeping the majority of the night in her bed! Today we went and got a new comforter for it and of course we had to get Minnie Mouse! She LOVES the new blanket.

24th of July

We spent tonight at Courtney and Kim's house having dinner, playing outside and doing some fireworks. Tyler has having a great time playing with their dog Dixie and also able to light a firework! Kali and Hailey were so proud that they could jump off the slide and onto the trampoline doing tricks. Kali was able to jump off and do a flip :) Hailey would jump and her little legs would buckle under her and she would just land…very glad she didn't break anything! It turned out to be a very fun day for us spending time together as a family!
