Pajama Party

Tonight we had a pajama party. The kids had been sick and so we were just going to stay home. I wanted to get Makena something to look forward to, so I asked if she wanted to help plan a pajama party. She was so excited. We decided what we wanted to do for dinner...she chose tacos and quesadillas. She then picked out a movie that we were going to watch that night in our pajamas. She went and picked out Toy Story 2. She could hardly wait until that night. We also went to the store and picked out some treats and also ice-cream to make strawberry shakes. It was a fun evening. We had dinner, the kids took a bath, then we all got into our pajamas and watched the movie and ate our treats!! A couple pictures of the kids in their pajamas with their treats.

1 year old checkup

Tyler went to the doctor's office today for his 1 year old checkup. He passed all the "tests." The doctor says that it looks like 4 teeth are trying to come in and that Tyler also has an ear infection in is left ear. He got 3 shots today (he didn't enjoy that at all), but in the end got a tub toy to take home. He did great.



His stats: He weighs 24.4 lbs (75%) and is 32 inches tall (97%). His head is 18.9 inches around (90%).

Happy Birthday Tyler!!

I can't believe my little guy is 1 years old. That year flew by for me. We had a little get together with family for cake and ice-cream. Tyler is all boy. He loves balls and loves to throw things. He will throw anything that he can...and I learned not to bring a little football to sacrament meeting, unless you want it to go flying into the next seat. Tyler makes us happy every day. He is starting to walk, can get wherever he wants to go. He is a sweet boy that loves to be held, but also loves to be down playing with his sisters. He can say the words "mama", "dada" and "ba" (ball). He loves bath times, climbing, playing kitchen with his sisters, chapstick, and loves to snuggle. I love this boy!!!

Happy New Year

Well a happy new year to everyone. I am now updated on my blog!!! We had a fun New Year's Eve. The kids and I went to lunch with my parents and my grandparents because it was my Grandma's birthday. It was nice to visit with them. That evening, we went to Jarel's parent's house to celebrate the new year. I really didn't see the new year until Tyler woke up at 2:00 in the morning. We left about 10:00, but had a fun time while we were there. We had dinner, the kids played, there was football being watched, games being played, candy necklaces being made and just fun visiting with family. Jarel's brother and his family were up from California and we love seeing them while they are in town! Hope everyone is enjoying the new year!
