Scheels
We took the kids to Scheels today to ride the Ferris Wheel because the girls did so good at their parent teacher conferences. They picked going to the Ferris Wheel and out to McDonalds for lunch.
Braxton wasn't tall enough to go on the Ferris Wheel so I stayed off with him, which I didn't mind because I am not a fan of the Ferris Wheel. I don't like when the chairs rock and I feel like I am going to fall. So needless to say, I was glad Braxton was still too little to go. Makena was just tall enough for her and Kali to ride by themselves. After the ride was done, Kali got off and she was not happy. She did not like it at all. She told me, "Mom, my hands are so wet from holding on so tight." As I was watching her go around on the Ferris Wheel, I knew she didn't like it and wanted to get off, but they couldn't stop the wheel, so she had to ride it all the way. She told me she never wants to go on the Ferris Wheel again, and I can't argue with her on that. She got her "don't like the Ferris Wheel gene" from her mom!

Outside Play
We have been itching to get outside from this cold winter. The weather was actually pretty nice and we were able to go out and the kids rode their scooters. They were in heaven!
Quack Quack
We enjoy going up to the lake and feeding the ducks. This particular day, the ducks were extremely hungry. As soon as we got there and they saw we had food, they were coming up from the water. Hailey got very scared because the ducks do not know boundaries. They were coming right up to her, so we had to move the bench. The kids couldn't feed the ducks fast enough :) It was a lot of fun once I got the kids on higher grounds!

New Clothes
Grandma and Grandpa Hathaway bought the kids new clothes for church. They were so excited to put them on (even if Tyler's face doesn't show it here). They even made a little video of them showing off their clothes and they sent it to Grandma and Grandpa!

Park City

Jarel and I went up to Park City with Jarel's parents for dinner. We went to Billy Blanco's motor city Mexican restaurant. It was all decked out like a car/motorcycle shop. The details were super fun to look at. There were about 8 motorcycles and 2 cars inside the restaurant. The 2 cars were up on some beams and you could eat underneath the cars. It was a lot of fun. Your napkins were shop rags, the seats looked like old car back row seats, the bar inside looked like tool chests. They really went all out in decorating it. These are just a few pictures from the evening. We are planning on taking the kids up next time we go!

5 Year Old Checkup
Tyler had his 5 year old checkup today. He was all caught up on his shots from last year that he didn't need to get any more to start Kindergarten. He had an eye exam done and there is no problems there. He is growing healthy and strong. He is 70% height and 80% weight. Tyler had been getting headaches quite a bit before, so the Dr Dallen recommended that we increase his Vitamin B. Which means Tyler will need spinach/strawberry shakes every day to see if that will help. Tyler also has warts all over the back of his legs and they are very contagious and they spread fast. He has had them since last August and they don't seem to be getting any better. We got a prescription last fall for ointment to help, but that doesn't seem to be working so well. The Dr recommended that I go to a dermatologist and have them inject acid into the warts to get rid of them. But will all the warts on his legs, I didn't feel good about doing that. So we will continue to put lotion all over his legs for his eczema and hope the warts will go away soon. They can last 18 months to 2 years because when ones go away, new ones pop up fast. He can't bathe with anyone because if one of the warts pops open and the juices get into the bath water, it can spread to the other people. Kali and Hailey both have some warts on their bodies, but not as bad as Tyler.
Valentine Pig
This was the first year for one of the kids to make their own Valentine box at home and take it to school (in the past they have always made them in their classroom). We game Makena the supplies and she came up with wanting to make a pig. Her and Jarel worked together to make it, Makena doing the majority and planning where stuff goes. She even got her first burn from the glue gun. I think she did a great job, and she was super proud of herself.

Brush Brush Brush
Hailey giving Grandpa Hathaway a hair massage by brushing it over and over. Grandpa LOVES when the kids want to brush his hair!
