Christmas Eve

Went to the movie "Big Hero 6"
This tradition has been a favorite for our family! We have loved going to a movie every Christmas Eve the past 3-4 years.

The kids draw names and on Christmas Eve they open the gifts they gave each other.

We do Christmas Eve pajamas!

We also get dinner and play lots of games!

Christmas Eve to me is pretty magical! All sorts of excitement at our house this year.

Paint and Parties

Braxton decided to paint and glitter a star…only problem, he didn't invite us to his paint party! Oh…and he did it on my bedroom floor. We tried so hard to get the paint out and there is no way it is coming out :(
Braxton wasn't too excited that we caught him in the act.
*the paint was in my room because I was too lazy to walk downstairs and put it away in my craft room…so yes, I did leave it out, but it was in a bag that he got into. So technically not my fault (or so I say!)

Kids had "Grandparent's Christmas party" today. Kids love acting out the nativity. Hailey was Mary and Grandpa was the donkey!

We ended the day at the Ashdown (Shirley's side of the family) Christmas party. Hailey and Lyla eating a snowman cookie!

Pajama Day

It was pajama day at preschool for Hailey today! She was so excited about wearing her pajamas all day.

Family

Spent the night with family making gingerbread houses, playing games and eating food!

Reindeer and Gingerbread House

 We went to Thanksgiving Point to see Santa's reindeer. There were 2 reindeers there and their names were Dancer and Sven. The keeper of the reindeer took Sven and walked him around so the kids could touch him. The kids were in heaven. They loved it. We also went into the cafe to get ice cream!

Tonight we decorated the gingerbread house. I got the house put together and then the kids went to town and decorated it. Lots of smiles and giggles tonight!
