Makena's Baptism

Today was a big day for Makena. Makena chose to be baptized into The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. She had been looking forward to this day for quite awhile. Makena asked her dad if he would baptize her. It was a beautiful day and Makena looked like an angel dressed in white. After she was baptized she had a big smile on her face, gave her dad a hug and then walked up the stairs to me to get dried off. Makena said "I feel good inside." So blessed to have Makena in our lives. She is a great example of following Jesus and trying her best to do good things!

There were 3 other girls from our ward baptized that same day.
She had a great turnout of support from family and friends.
Maysen, Sis. Cook, and Jayce

These are Grandpa and Grandma Petersen from our ward. My kids love them and have adopted them as "Grandma and Grandpa"

Part of her setup for after the baptism. We came back to our house and had muffins, bagels and fruit. Makena also wanted containers filled with her favorite treats! It was a wonderful day!
