Two Months

Hailey is two months old! She was two months on Sunday, but I waited to post this until I went to the doctor's for her two month checkup. Times flies...everyone says this...but it is so true. These two months have gone by so fast, yet it seems we have always had her here with us. I love that about the gospel, we were all up in heaven together as a family and one by one we came down to earth and so when each of my kids have come to our family, it is a natural feeling like you have done this before!

Hailey is as sweet as can be. Such a good little baby. She is smiling, babbling and starting to "talk." She loves to eat, be held (I hold her almost all day long, because when I put her down she wakes up and then I can't get things done. So I do most of the things I need to do with one hand. Jarel says that I hold her too much, but I don't think so. They are only little for just a short time, and the more I get to hold her, the better! Can't spoil a baby with too much holding.) She is a good sleeper at night. She sleeps from about 10:00 until 4:00 or so and then will eat and go back to sleep until around 8:00. Hailey likes to snuggle and curl up in a blanket and nuzzle her nose into your chest. She likes her baths, loves staring at lights, loves when her brother and sisters talk to her and she likes to sit up while she is awake. She has discovered her tongue and likes to stick it out and is discovering her hands and that she can pull them to her mouth. Hailey is a sweetheart and we are so blessed to have her apart of our lives.

Her stats from the doctors: 12 lbs. 8 oz. (90%) 23.9 inches (90%) and her head is 15.2 inches (50%). The doctor says not to change a thing I am doing with her feeding! She is growing great and looks very healthy!
