The first snow fall came today. The kids were so excited when they woke up and saw snow on the ground. They wanted to put their boots and coats on right then and go outside and play. The problem...it was 6:00 in the morning. I told them after breakfast and when the sun came up...they could go out and play.
They got bundled up, went outside and made snowballs and ran in the snow. They had a great time. They didn't stay outside too long, it was very cold. When they came in, the kids bundled by the heater warming up their hands!
They were bummed they couldn't make a snowman, not enough snow. But I promised them there would be another snow storm with more snow and then we could make a snowman!
