Today at school, Makena's class put on a "Mother's Day Program" with songs, poems and goodies for me. It was so fun and special to go and see her perform for me. Before she went to school, she kept asking if I had to look her in backpack. I said no and she took her backpack and ran downstairs. When I got to the program, she was dressed in a skirt and shirt that she picked out special for the program. It was so fun to watch and spend some time with just her. Thanks Makena for making it a special moment for me!
