While Makena and Tyler were looking for Geodes with Grandpa Hathaway and cousins…the rest of us celebrated "Kali Day!"
Kali got to pick what we did that day…so she picked pancakes for breakfast, Chick Fil A for lunch, going to SugarHouse park to watch the pumpkin boat races and see the biggest pumpkin in the state of Utah (weighs 1817 pounds), going to the wood connection store to pick out a wood project to paint, going to Grandma Hathaways for a visit and then coming home after a busy day and watching some TV. It was a fun day on such a nice sunny Saturday.
Makena and Tyler had a great time finding geodes and being able to open them up and see the crystals inside.
