Happy Halloween

The kids had a doctor appt today for their flu mists (up their noses) and their annual visit (except Tyler and Braxton's visit was for his 2 1/2 year). Hailey got her kindergarten shots! Oh man…I felt…Old…sad…teary…excited. Time goes so fast! I am loving my kids ages right now. They are so fun and bring so much light into my life. They give me purpose. They make me want to yell and get after them less…and LOVE them more. I am trying my best. They always forgive me when I do get after them. They are everything to me. Love them to pieces!

I took the kids this year trick or treating…started with 5 kids…Braxton was done about 1/2 hour…dropped him off at home with Jarel…the rest lasted another 2 1/2 hours! Hailey was done but wanted to go to Marc's house. We got to Marc's house, but he was gone…so mostly she rode in the stroller while the other kids went up to the houses. We then went to Marc's sister's house (Marc wasn't there either) and Hailey was sad…but on our way home, Marc was across the street trick or treating with Ayden. She was elated!! Yelled "MARC" and ran across the street to give him a hug.
All the kids had such a fun time. It was another warm Halloween this year so it was very enjoyable! They went to lots of houses, got lots of candy, had lots of smiles on their faces and lots of giggles and laughter! Theses memories are what I want to hold in my mind. Parenting can be hard…but these moments are precious to me. My kids are growing so fast…time goes by faster and faster and I just want to always remember these days!
