Temple Square

Big tree at City Creek

Tonight we went to City Creek Center and Temple Square to see the Christmas lights. We ate dinner in a very busy food court *all the kids were in the dinosaur play place, I was saving a table for us and Jarel was ordering food. I looked into the play place and saw all the kids except for Braxton. He was nowhere to be found. I panicked and started looking around the food court but couldn't find him. I didn't know if he went outside in the dark or where he was. I went to Jarel and told him to get out of line and come help me find Braxton. I said a quick prayer that I needed to find him! My heart was racing and what was 10 minutes seemed like an hour. Just as Jarel was about to come out and help, here comes Braxton running to me with a bag of chips he had taken from who knows where. Such relief came to me the moment I saw him. So thankful and blessed that he was inside that food court and that we found each other!* there were so many people there, it took a long time to get dinner. But once we got a full belly, we went across the street to temple square. The lights were so pretty and all the nativities were calm and peaceful to look at. But with how busy it was, it was hard to get where we wanted to go, so we took side paths out of the crowd to see the lights. It was a fun night.
