Children's Discovery Park

I thought I would take advantage of the cooler temps now and before the cold weather comes and take the kids to a new park today. We got ready and headed to Pleasant Grove to a Children's Discovery park . I had never been, but have heard it is a lot of fun and lots of fun things to do there. When we got there, all of the "discovery" signs were all covered with paper and tape and read "Do Not Remove." They are getting the park ready to stain. It was a bummer we didn't get to see what all the signs did and said, but we still had lots of fun. (We will just have to go back when the staining is all done.) The kids ran all around, climbing through tunnels, slides, bridges, ropes, spinning things and tire swings. They even found a rocket ship where there were chairs inside and they were telling eachother stories. Kali had the best stories to tell us. She told about witches and monsters and little girls. Her faces she pulled while telling the stories were awesome! There was a lot to do there. We were there for about 2 hours or so and then we headed to McDonald's for lunch, where the kids played for 1 1/2 hours, before heading for home. It was a fun morning/afternoon for all of us!
