At the Daybreak gardens

In our backyard getting ready to release the ladybugs.

Letting the ladybugs go. We had about 700 ladybugs.

Makena loved holding the ladybugs, but was a bit jumpy every time a ladybug would crawl on her leg without her knowing.

Tyler did well if he was just holding one ladybug and knew where it was at.

Every year Daybreak as a ladybug festival at the gardens. You can go and buy ladybugs and release them up there or bring them to your house. We brought them home and had quite the fun time watching them crawl everywhere and then fly away. Lots of fun. This was on June 22nd.

Kali tried to get as many as he could to crawl on her arm.

not liking it at all! I didn't get her reaction because I had to rescue her from the ladybug.

The ladybugs were everywhere. Crawling in the grass, on us, in the bushes and then flying away.

Makena wanted to make sure Braxton got his picture with the ladybugs.
