The kids have been wanting to sell something for awhile now. June 15th, we got things ready and they kids went outside and sold otterpops and blowpops. They were waving their arms to all the cars that went by, they were yelling "otterpops and blowpops...get your otterpops and blowpops." They had a great time and everytime someone would come buy something...they would turn around and show me their money jar. Makena ran over at one point and said, "Mom, people are just giving us extra money and not even wanting a sucker." It was a success and they were excited to have some money to go to the store with!
