Family Reunions

My Grandpa Boyack came down from Idaho for the family reunion. It was great to see him. My Grandpa stayed up in Idaho because she had to have emergency surgery on her bowels a couple of days before. We had dinner at my parents (my Uncle Todd and Olivea were there too).

Inside the indian tower. We went to a park in Alpine that had a church history house and and indian tower that was built to protect the family from indians. The kids were able to go inside and climb to the top and look out holes to see if Indians were coming.

After the reunion, Makena begged Dad to go get wood to make her some stilts! She was a happy girl!

Yesterday we had 2 reunions. We had my mom's side in the morning for breakfast. We met at Erma's house and ate breakfast and then the kids got to ride on the horses, collect eggs from the chickens and play. I love sitting and talking with my Aunt Eileen! That afternoon we went to Alpine for my dad's side family reunion. The kids had lots to do with games and treats. So many people were there that I haven't seen for a long time. It was great to see so many people. I remember many times going to my Uncle Jack and Aunt Renee's house and teasing my Uncle Jack while he would try and get us and give us kisses…he hasn't changed! It has been a long time since I have seen them and it made me want to be more diligent and go out of my way to visit them more often. Great times!
