This afternoon I wanted to take the kids to Gardner Village on the train. I called Jarel just hoping he might be able to come with us but he said he had to do stuff at the shop and might not make the train. Bummer…but we still went and got on the train. We missed the first train and waited for the 2nd. It turned out to be a blessing we missed the first train because Jarel was able to catch the 2nd train at the train stop by his work!! It was so nice and fun to have him come with us. We brought food to feed the ducks, went to the candy store, and walked around. It was Hawaiian themed there and they had lots of stuff Hawaiian to look at. Love times like this that spontaneous things happen and I get to spend that time with my family!
After getting back from Gardner Village we went to Courtney and Kim's house for games and roast smores. We had fun visiting with them and letting kids be kids!
