Kali riding the pony
Makena riding a pony. Makena told me "mom, when you are riding the pony, you can also pet the pony!"
Tyler on the pony
Tyler. He had so much fun. A smile never left his face.
Kali. She rode "star"
Makena. She rode "slow Joe"
Kali by the bunny. At one point, Kali was petting the bunny and the bunny was eating and the bunny accidentally mistaken Kali's finger for food. After the nibble on Kali's finger, Kali was done petting the bunnies.
Makena by the bunny.
Tyler was going crazy with the bunnies. He would run around looking at all the bunnies saying "bunny" really loud.
Tyler pointing to the chicken and saying "chicken"
Tyler by the sheep
Makena by the sheep. This sheep kept sticking it's head out so that Makena would pet it.
Pig getting a drink.

This year they had a little train that you could ride. Of course Grandpa had to take the kids for a ride on it. I think he really wanted the ride, but used the grandkids as an accuse!!

They had a little hands on farm for the kids to do. We do this every year and they love it. They get to pick fruit, plant seeds, ride tractors, milk a cow, brush the sheep and at the end, they get some money to buy a treat at the store. It is a pretty cute little set up for the kids!
Tyler milking the cow. He had no problem getting right in there and squeezing those udders. He thought it was funny that "milk" would come out (it was water).
Kali picking an apple.
Makena after she got her apple and put it in the basket.
Kali planting her seed in the garden
The kids on the tractors. They had to fill them up with fuel, ride them around so that they could deliver their goods to the farmer.
Kali and Makena on the tractors.
Tyler brushing a sheep. After they brushed the sheep, they collected some wool to take to the farmer.
Makena brushing the sheep.
Kali brushing the sheep. She didn't want anything to do with collecting the wool. She told me, "I don't want to do that."
Tyler's backside. Just loved how the apron looked from the back.
Picking an egg from the chicken coop. The girls were so afraid, they had Tyler get their egg for them. The girls thought the chickens were real and would get their little fingers.
Tyler with his full basket on his way to the farmer.
Makena and Kali with their full baskets.
Every year we look forward to riding the "big yellow slide." We got our tickets and I told Makena that we had enough tickets that she could ride the slide twice. She was so excited about that. So, Jarel, Tyler and Makena all climbed to the top of the slide and went down. Makena's face was priceless. She had the biggest eyes and you could tell she was scared. And of course when you are riding with Jarel, he was getting speed and air, so Makena was almost falling off her mat and that made it that more scarier for her. After she was done, she got a smile on her face. But when I asked if she was ready to go again, she told me, "NO. I am done. That was scary." It was funny...but Tyler didn't mind her response because he got to take her place and go down again.
Jarel, Makena and Tyler going down the slide.
A smile on Makena's face at the end of the ride. She was glad to be done.
Amy, Kali and Tyler going down the slide. Can I tell you how exhausting it was to climb to the top of the slide carrying the mat, Tyler, being pregnant and trying to get Kali up the stairs! But we did it, and it was a fun ride down!
Jarel and Tyler with "robot man." This guy was pretty cool to watch!
