Gale Center

Today we had a playday with Grandma. We went to the Gale center in South Jordan to look at some Gingerbread houses that people in the city made. They had some pretty cool ones. The Gale center is a museum from the pioneers that first were in South Jordan. I had been before to vote, and peeked in the museum, but never went inside the museum part because it is a museum - and I get bored quite easily in museums.
Today we decided just to see what it was and I'm glad we did. The kids had such a fun time. They got to see how a school was set up back then, a store, a house with chores for them to do and things to play with, went fishing, a bedroom, Indian teepee and got to see a weather station. They didn't want to leave. But we had to leave to make it to McDonalds and then home in time for Makena to go to school. We love our outings with Grandma!

Makena with the baby. She wouldn't put this baby down. She was rocking it, dressing it and having a great time.

Collecting eggs for the hens...apparently Tyler couldn't wait until "cooking" the egg to eat it!
