Riverton Parade

The 4th of July wouldn't be the same without going to the Riverton Parade. We have been going since we moved to Riverton as a family when I was 12 years old. We have grown smarter and learned over the past 5 or so years that you have to get your chairs out early (this year my mom and dad set up the chairs on Sunday...5 days before the parade) to get a prime spot. We always try to sit in front of the community center, the shade gets their first! The kids have so much fun seeing the horses, princesses, getting the candy and being with cousins and Grandpa and Grandma! It is a great time! I am so glad my mom and dad take the time to put up their chairs for us to have a great seat and also that they continue to go to the parade! I love this time of year.
After the parade, we always go back to Grandpa and Gradma's house for a treat. This year it was ice-cream!
