Cove Fort

This past week we surprised the kids with a trip to Disneyland! We left Sunday morning and drove to Cove Fort to go on a little tour. It was super cold outside and our hands and my toes froze (of course I was wearing flip flops)! We did enjoy looking around the place and hearing the history of it. The kids liked climbing to the top of the fort and looking out over the valley.
After Cove Fort, we made our way to Henderson Nevada for the night. It was nice to get out of the car. We found a little play ground for the kids to play on for a couple of hours and get out some energy before bed.
The kids still have no idea where we were going. Makena would ask, and we would give her hints, but she still hadn't figured it out at this point.
